Payments can be made by bank transfer or Paypal
Payments by PayPal incur a 5% handling fee
Cheques are not accepted
No refunds will be given due to bad weather, snow conditions, illness or lost luggage
Durango d.o.o. understands that unexpected situations do occur and all request for refunds will be taken into consideration
We collect a 300€ non-refundable deposit upon booking.
The final payment 698€ is due 30 days before the trip
Booking Policy
Bookings can be made by telephone, email or by sending us your requirements through our contact page
A reservation can only be guaranteed when full payment has been received in advance
Full payment is considered the total amount for all passengers included in this contract of time reserved and not part thereof. If full payment is not made Durango d.o.o. has the right to not proceed with the booking.
Durango d.o.o.’s ski tour programs only run if the group is minimum booked (minimum 4 guests). We reserve the right to cancel the trip if it is not fully booked within 14 days of program start. In this event, we will give fourteen days warning to any booked guests and a full refund of any payments made. However, as we recognize that some guests may wish to go forward with a partially booked trip, the opportunity to “buy out” the other spots will be made available to booked guests. In this case, guests with existing reservations can choose to pay for the empty spots in order for the tour to go ahead. It is our goal to be as transparent as possible during the booking process and will do our best to ensure that all trips go ahead fully booked.
Included in the final price:
• Transfer from and to Kutaisi airport (program starts and ends in Kutaisi or Mestia),
• Transfers for needs of ski touring program,
• Accommodation 7x (usually in Mestia 6x, Kutaisi 1x),
• Breakfast, lunch-box, dinner (starts with dinner in Mestia, ends with breakfast in Kutaisi/Mestia),
• Ski lifts if needed for ski touring program,
• Professional guide 5 days (maximum 6 attendants to one guide),
• Agency representative in Mestia
Not included in the final price:
• Flight to and from Kutaisi airport,
• Transfers to meeting point (Kutaisi airport) or from it if needed
• Meals when it is not mentioned,
• Drinks,
• Personal equipment,
• Personal expenses,
• Entrances to museums and other extra activities,
• Everything what is not specifically included
Cancellation Policy
Only Durango d.o.o. or a representative of Durango d.o.o. can cancel bookings due to weather or snow conditions.
A cancellation 30 days before the start of the booking 50% of total cost from booking will be charged.
A cancellation 29-0 days before the start of the booking 100% of total cost from booking will be charged.
Equipment policy
Guests must bring their own touring equipment (boots, skis with touring bindings/split board and skins and a backpack suitable for touring and safety equipment (transceiver, shovel, probe).
Durango will provide safety equipment (transceiver, shovel, probe) if clients do not have their own (payment for rental is 10€ per day).
Safety Policy
Skiing, snowboarding and ski touring are considered dangerous activities. Durango d.o.o. is not responsible for any accidents, injuries or death that may occur. It is up to the participant or responsible adult to decide what is dangerous and whether to continue or not.
Durango d.o.o. is not responsible for any damages/loss of ski/snowboard/sledding equipment or personal belongings
For safety reasons, a maximum of 6 people per guide will be accepted for off-piste or ski touring guiding
The guide has the last say where to go and what to do
You must have your own travel insurance for the trip covering also ski touring activities and we strongly recommend that you purchase trip cancellation / interruption insurance to protect your travel investment when you book your trip. We offer optional trip cancellation / interruption insurance.
Down Days
Unfavorable weather anomalies beyond the control of Durango d.o.o. can cause down days, and although very rare in the Tetnuldi skiing sector (used as a backup for freeride), it is possible and has happened. Durango does not provide replacement ski days for down days lost due to weather-related problems (e.g. extreme avalanche conditions, unusual torrential rain, etc.)
Complaint Policy
Claims can only be made by the client once the full cost of the program has been paid. However, any complaints should be reported immediately to the Durango d.o.o., in written form, during the program. If the complaint is not sorted out during the program period, a registered letter should be sent to the Tour Operator within 10 days of program ending. Durango d.o.o. has taken all reasonable care to make sure that all the services are provided to a reasonable standard and are provided as described in the itinerary. Durango d.o.o. is not responsible for any changes made by the supplier of which they have not been informed. Any suggestions from the client will be gladly accepted in order to improve the level of services.
Legal Jurisdiction
Both parties agree that the contract will be governed by the Slovenian law. Any dispute which may arise from either party’s obligations shall be subject to the exclusive Slovenian jurisdiction and to the exclusive competent authority of the Civil Court of Kranj, Slovenia.
Warranty Policy
A warranty fund has been established by the insurance of Insurance company Sava d.d. Slovenian Government Authorities obligate each Tour Operator in Slovenia to safeguard the client in the case of Tour Operator insolvency or bankruptcy, safeguarding a holiday refund and repatriation to the point of agreed departure of the clients.
Privacy Policy
Durango d.o.o. respects your privacy and will not use your personal information other than to prepare your holiday
Durango d.o.o. will not sell your information to any third parties
Photos/video taken during lesson/guiding may be used on social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Youtube, Instagram, Goggle + or Pintrest and webpages.
